Types of fostering
Up to 3 weeks
SHORT TERM
Post-operative care, injury recovery, or short-term fostering for puppies who need 10–15 days of care until their vaccination
1 TO 3 MONTH
Medium Term
Pregnant, nursing, and post-natal dogs; puppies younger than 2 months who cannot feed themselves; reserved dogs flying abroad; and emaciated dogs
1+ YEARS
LONG TERM
Disabled dogs (e.g., blind or amputees), dogs with permanent medical conditions, and timid or scared dogs
